Pelvic Floor PT for Scarsdale
Foundations Physical Therapy draws Scarsdale patients across the county to our Dobbs Ferry office, roughly 15 to 20 minutes west on the Hudson side of Westchester. We focus exclusively on pelvic floor physical therapy, delivered in unhurried one-on-one, 60-minute sessions — the kind of in-depth, specialized care discerning patients tend to go looking for.
Pelvic Floor PT for the Scarsdale Community
Scarsdale residents tend to be discerning about their healthcare, and many of our Scarsdale patients have already cycled through other providers before finding us. What we hear repeatedly is that they hadn't realized a dedicated pelvic floor practice existed — one led by a PRPC-certified owner and built entirely around full-hour, one-on-one care. Once they see that difference firsthand, the trip out to the Hudson side is an easy call.
We see Scarsdale patients across every life stage — pregnant and postpartum patients, perimenopausal and menopausal women, men with chronic pelvic pain or post-prostate concerns, athletes returning to running and lifting, and patients who have carried long-standing pelvic concerns and deserve more than a rushed, insurance-driven appointment.
Conditions We See in Scarsdale Patients
- Postpartum recovery
- Diastasis recti
- Pelvic organ prolapse
- Urinary incontinence
- Painful intercourse and vaginismus
- Chronic pelvic pain
- Chronic prostatitis / male pelvic pain
- ED with pelvic floor involvement
- Endometriosis (the secondary pelvic floor component)
Why Patients Choose Us Over Closer Options
Scarsdale has plenty of good general PT clinics closer to home — but general and pelvic-floor-specialized are not the same thing. Pelvic floor rehabilitation takes specific post-graduate training and, in our founder's case, certification (the Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification, or PRPC) and over 15 years of experience. It also takes time: a full, unhurried hour per visit instead of a shared 15-minute slot. That combination is what patients drive across the county for.
Getting to Our Office
From most parts of Scarsdale, the office is a 15 to 20 minute drive west. Take Ardsley Road across Westchester to Ashford Avenue and into Dobbs Ferry, where we're at 145 Palisade Street, Suite 322, with free parking in the building's lot and accessible spots. Driving is genuinely the easiest option here — Scarsdale sits on Metro-North's Harlem Line while our office is near the Hudson Line, so the two aren't linked by a single train without looping back through the city. The parkway keeps the whole trip to about 20 minutes.
Booking
Most new patients get an evaluation within a week, and you're welcome to start with a free 15-minute phone or video consultation. Your first visit is a full 60 minutes, one-on-one with Ronit Sukenick, PT, DPT, PRPC, or another doctoral-trained pelvic floor specialist on the team. Medicare, HSA, and FSA are all accepted, and we handle the out-of-network reimbursement paperwork on your behalf.
